In some respects it's a shame that some of Tom Lehrer's songs remain so relevant today — notably for example "Pollution" and "National Brotherhood Week".
Some, though, are perhaps a bit dated, and warrant revision to reflect the zeitgeist. We have a modest example here…
Gather round while I sing you of Elon Reeve Musk
A man for whom leadership is founded on brinkmanship
Call him a Nazi his reply will be brusque
“Nazi? Schmartzi!” snorts Elon Reeve Musk
Don't say that he's high on ketamine
Say rather that he is a libertine
"Once the rockets are up, who cares about anti-trust?
That's not my department!" sneers Elon Reeve Musk
Some have harsh words for this man of renown
But some think our attitude should be one of gratitude
Like the families of drivers whose Teslas combust
Who get their large payouts from Elon Reeve Musk
You too may role-play a Nero
Once you've learned to count backwards to zero
"In Russian, and Afrikaans, I know how to count, just
And I'm learning Chinese!" says Elon Reeve Musk
